Romans 11:33-36

SUMMARY: This is the conclusion to the third major section of the letter to Rome in which the Apostle Paul discusses questions that relate to the nation of Israel. What else can he do at this point except break out in praise of God? Praise Him for His immeasurable wisdom!
  I.  The Praise VERSE 11:33
A.  First: Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! (33a)
B.  Second: How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! (33b)
 
 II.  The Scriptures VERSES 11:34-35
A.  First: For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR?  (Isaiah 40:13 LXX) (34)
B.  Second: Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN?  (Job 35:7 and 41:11) (35)
 
III.  The Benediction VERSE 11:36
A.  First: For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. (36a)
B.  Second: To Him be the glory forever. Amen. (36b)
